Attention parents of 3rd grade children! We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our 3rd Grade Bible Dedication ceremony at all three of our services on Sunday, March 7th. Parents of 3rd graders may register to participate using the form below.
What is 3rd Grade Bible Dedication?
We have found that by 3rd grade, children are reaching an age where it is so important to teach them about hiding God’s word in their heart. This can simply mean to know God’s word so well they remember it throughout their day.  (Psalm 119:11)
MCC Family Ministry would like to walk alongside of you in this right of passage with two events to help you with this commitment. First, we want to help you be prepared to answer many of the questions your child may have as they begin to read the Bible such as, where did the Bible come from? How do we know if it’s from God? On Sunday, February 28th, we will have a 40 minute session that will run between the first and second morning services at the Elverson campus to help you answer these questions. Then, on Sunday, March 7th, at all three of our services (9am & 11am at Elverson campus and 6:30pm at the Birdsboro campus), we will have a Bible Dedication where the parents will present their child with a Bible (provided by the church) and will make the commitment to read the Bible each night together as a family.
Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to celebrate this milestone! To register, please complete the form below.
