One of the core values at MCC is that Life is Better Together. But that can be a bittersweet concept in marriages where one spouse is a believer, but the other isn’t quite there (or isn’t there at all). It can be difficult for women to fully pursue their faith when their spouse is not on the same page spiritually. It can be especially difficult if you feel like you’re the only one with a spouse who is an unbeliever. This life group is for women who are feeling discouraged, lonely, or worried in their mismatched relationship – or just need to be able to discuss with others the challenges of remaining true to your faith while keeping the peace in your marriage.
Are you a woman who once was in a spiritually mismatched marriage – but your spouse has begun to come around (or has fully committed)? We’d love to have you in the group as well!
This group is a short, 8-week session that will meet on Wednesdays at 6:30, beginning April 21st, at the Elverson campus. Childcare is available! We will be using the book Spiritual Mismatch, by Lee and Leslie Strobel, as a guide. While having the book is not required to participate in the group, attendees may find it helpful. The book is available from Amazon, and local retail and Christian bookstores. There is also an audiobook version available for Audible.
