One of the core values at MCC is Life is Better Together. Nowhere will you see that more clearly than in the many Life Groups MCC has to offer. Most of our fall Life Groups are beginning the week of September 13th – and we have a life group for everyone (yes, even you!) Browse our list, and give a group (or two!) a try!
What are Life Groups?
Fellowship and community are essential in our walk as Christians. Relationships with other Christians helps us grow in our relationship with God, helps us mature in our faith, and allows us to provide support and guidance to one another. Life Groups cover a wide range of topics. Some focus on family or marriage, others study a book in the Bible or other books. Some groups center around hobbies or activities. What they all have in common is the desire to bring people together and build relationships. We have Life Groups for men, women, couples, individuals, and teens. All are welcome to join a Life Group – whether you’re brand new to MCC or have been attending for years.
Many of our Life Groups meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30, as part of our Family Night at MCC at our Elverson Campus. Childcare is provided for these Wednesday groups through our Awana program – no pre-registration is required! For the groups on Wednesday evenings, no advance registration is required, but letting group leaders know ahead of time you’re coming can help for planning.
We have many groups that meet on other days of the week, and in a variety of locations in the Morgantown and Birdsboro area. For groups that meet on other days of the week and/or at different locations, reach out to the contact listed on the detail page of the Life Group you are interested in to let them know that you would like to attend.
Taking the first step to join a Life Group may feel intimidating to some – but we encourage you to take that step! You will find that you are very warmly welcomed from the start, and just may find relationships that last a lifetime, while deepening your relationship with God at the same time.
