Communications Director

Kurt accepted Jesus as his savior when he was 21 years old and has grown closer to Him ever since. He credits his wife Melissa with leading him to Jesus by being bold and sharing her faith. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University. He has a drive to get the word out about Jesus and to help show that God isn’t boring and neither are His people.

Kurt and Melissa have three daughters, Ethne, Aubrey, and Kaeley. They enjoy taking day trips and by living in the Elverson area they have a large variety of places to see & experience. Two of Kurt’s hobbies are reading and drumming. Every now and then he will fill in on the drums for the worship band. He is involved in various life groups in the church and has grown to call many of the people in the life groups as close as family.

Jen Waldron
Jen Waldron
Preschool Ministry Director

Jen Waldron grew up in the Coatesville area moving to Mohnton in 2009. She married her husband Eric in 2010 and started attending Morgantown Community Church.

Jen has been in childcare on some level since 2003.  From being a nanny to lead teacher and teacher’s aide she has enjoyed each position and has been blessed by the children on each level. She has helped in the MCC Preschool Ministry since 2011. Jen currently is the Hub of the Turtle Room (3’s) as well as the Awana Puggles Director. In 2018, Jen came on staff as the Preschool Ministry Assistant Director and in May, 2019 has moved into the position of Preschool Ministry Director.  She loves working with the children at MCC and coming up with new ideas to help them learn and build a love for Jesus.

Jen has been blessed with 3 wonderful girls. In her spare time Jen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, taking pictures and enjoying the next adventure that comes her way.

Natalie Moyer
Natalie Moyer
Elementary School Ministry Assistant Director

Natalie Moyer started attending MCC in 2015. While it was slow going getting plugged in, she now serves Sundays and Wednesday’s in the GROW Kids ministry, and wouldn’t go back! Natalie is grateful for the gifts and talents God has given her that lend themselves to this ministry. If it involves crafts, count her in!

Her greatest desire is to reach the children at MCC with the Good News and to help them develop a deeper relationship with God.

When Natalie isn’t hanging out at the church (you can say that when you truly enjoy being there 😊), she is either working at her full time job (sales & design associate at a kitchen and bathroom remodeling company) or spending time at home or outdoors with her family – husband Mike and 2 sons Zeke and Cash. Couldn’t be more blessed!

Mike Moyer
Mike Moyer
Youth Ministry Director

Mike is a graduate of Exeter High School, and soon to be graduate of University of Valley Forge. With prompting from the Holy Spirit, he pursued a certificate in Christian Ministry.

While Mike has been involved in some level of children’s ministry since 2012, it wasn’t until 2018 that he found his calling to help teens.
Mike, along with his wife Natalie and two sons; Ezekiel (Zeke) and Cash currently reside in Exeter Township. When he isn’t working, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, riding bikes, and TENT camping…yes, you read that correctly.
James Mast
James Mast
Community Director

James serves as the Community Director of MCC, where he helps the staff in setting/meeting goals, and assists with the daily operations of the church. James also co-leads the Youngish Marrieds life group.

James was a dairy farmer for 17 years. In 2019, he sold his dairy herd, but continues to farm crops and have some cattle. James accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 9 years old and was baptized when he was 15. James and his wife, Alison, began attending MCC in July of 2014,  after searching for a church that had ample opportunities to serve Christ and the community.

James and Alison have a son, Nathaniel, born in 2018; and a daughter, Abigail, born in 2020. In his free time, James likes to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family by taking short trips.

Alison Mast
Alison Mast
Assistant to the Sr. Pastor

Alison first came to MCC in July 2014. She was searching for a church that taught from the Bible and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere.  In 2007 she graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  She worked for seven years in the Human Resources field managing upwards of 400 employees.  After marrying James in 2012, she left her corporate position so they could run their dairy farm together.  Alison is part of the “Young Married” small group and continues to learn and grow in her faith.  As office administrator she helps ensure data entered into the church’s database is complete and correct, managing the church calendar and creating presentations and handouts for services.  She is also the leader of the Administrative team (A-Team).  When she is not milking cows or working at church she loves to spend time reading and planning her next adventure with her husband.

Dan Long
Dan Long
Media Director

Dan is a retired public school music teacher (HS Band Director) of 34 years and retired from Twin Valley High School in 2018. Teaching gave him the opportunity to watch so many students become adults and mature, and in many cases have children of their own. Dan holds a BA and an MA in Music Education, and is one dissertation shy of a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Both he and his wife Jody enjoy traveling, gardening and camping. Dan also enjoys woodworking.

After an absence from church, their daughter Erika (Kanter) brought them back into the fold. It wasn’t long after that they both called MCC home, or as Dan says, “The ‘Wright’ Church for ME”. Dan was baptised in 2017 and has found a home here at MCC. Being retired has allowed him to pursue another area of interest; Media. He is also active as an Usher, Communications & Marketing Team member, Anchored by Grace Outreach, two Small Groups, Live Stream Team, and a Wednesday night Bible Study. The Longs have three grown children and currently reside in Birdsboro.

One of Jill’s favorite scripture verses is Philippians 4:13, which states “I can do all this through him who gives me strength”.  She is a strong believer that If you put all of your faith in God, He will provide.

Jill was the Preschool Ministry Director from May 2015 until May of 2019 and is now blessed to step into the position of Family Ministry Director at MCC. Jill is excited to walk along side the church families as they learn and grow in Jesus.  Is there any better job?????
