2024 MCC SERVE DAY – JULY 21, 2024
MCC partners and attendees are participating in a national movement called SERVE. Through SERVE Day, churches around the world identify local community needs, and provide opportunities for volunteers to share the love of God through practical acts of kindness.
This year, MCC SERVE Day will be held on Sunday, July 21st, with a variety of project opportunities in the Morgantown and Birdsboro communities, for people of all ages and abilities.
Ways To Help:
Please choose one or more ways to help us in our SERVE Day mission!

View the list of all SERVE Day projects by clicking the VIEW PROJECTS button below. Choose the project that you are most called to volunteer for from the list of projects. Click the button to Sign Up, and complete the form.
Then, on Sunday, July 21st, volunteers will gather to serve at either Elverson, following the 1st or 2nd service, or in Birdsboro before the afternoon service:
- Elverson’s Wave 1 will meet after the first service, from 10:30am – 1:00pm;
- Elverson’s Wave 2 will meet after the 2nd service, from 12:30pm – 3:00pm;
- Birdsboro Wave will meet before the afternoon service, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
You will enjoy a light lunch, receive your free SERVE Day T-shirt, and then head out to the area where your project will be serving!
Participate in BAGS BY THE BUMPER
As part of SERVE Day, we will also be we will also be doing a BAGS BY THE BUMPER back to school collection on July 21st as well! We ask that MCC attendees bring bags school supplies with them to Sunday service, at either morning service at MCC Elverson campus, or the evening service at MCC Birdsboro. Place the bags behind your vehicle in the parking lot when you come in for the service. Volunteers will collect all of the bags, which will be distributed to families in need within our communities! For examples of what supplies we need, view our related post.
Donate Monetarily to SERVE Day
Monetary donations are also GREATLY appreciated, and are the easiest way that you can help. Monetary donations can be accepted in person during any MCC Sunday service (please mark your envelope attention SERVE Day team), or you may make a donation online right here on our website! In the “Direct my donation toward” box, please enter “SERVE DAY.”
We invite and encourage everyone to join alongside of us as we SERVE our communities and show them the light of Jesus Christ! For any questions, please email Mike Moyer at mike@wearethatchurch.org
