At MCC, we believe….
The Bible
WE BELIEVE the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired Word of God: completely inerrant and infallible, reliable for today and the most complete and dependable way that God has spoken to His people.
More About the Bible >
2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Peter 1:25, 2 Peter 1:20-21
Creation
WE BELIEVE that God created the world in six days creating man in His image and likeness on the sixth day. He created man with freewill, the ability to choose obedience to Him or rebellion and they chose rebellion, causing both physical and spiritual death for them and their descendants.
God
WE BELIEVE in the One true and living God, who eternally exists in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 1:15-20, John 16:13
Jesus
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death on a cross, was buried, was resurrected on the third day, ascended to the right hand of God and will return. He was fully man and yet fully God existing as God eternally.
John 1:1-5, 9-18, Luke 1:26-38, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Corinthians 15:3-5
Holy Spirit
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells a believer at salvation and enables a Christian to live a godly life. He came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and of judgement and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort and seal those who believe in Jesus Christ, and to empower them to use spiritual gifts for the carrying out of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 7:37-39, John 16:7-14, Ephesians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
Sin
WE BELIEVE that all men by nature are dead in their sins and in this depraved and fallen state man is unable to remedy his lost condition and is thus separated from a holy God.
Romans 3:23, Romans 1:18-3:20, Romans 5:9-18
Salvation
WE BELIEVE that eternal salvation is a gift of God brought to man by grace through the work of the Holy Spirit and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sin. Jesus Christ is the only Savior of mankind and the only path to the Father.

Romans 6:23, Titus 3:5, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, Acts 4:12
Church
WE BELIEVE in the universal church which consists of all true Christians throughout the world and in the local church as a body of believers, joined together to glorify God and make disciples of all nations.
Matthew 16:18, Romans 12:5, Matthew 28:18-20
Believers
WE BELIEVE in the priesthood of the believer. Jesus has become the believers High Priest and Mediator and has made it possible for each Christian to have access to the presence of the Father.
Hebrews 4:14-16, Hebrews 10:19-22
Commission
WE BELIEVE and accept the great commission of Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations, to baptize them, and teach them to observe His commandments. We accept this as a personal commission as well as a command for the entire church.
Angels
WE BELIEVE in the existence of angels who were created holy to worship and serve God, yet some rebelled against God. Satan – who led the rebellion against God by wanting to be equal with God – along with other fallen angels, entice people to rebel against God, battle against God’s followers, and accuse them before God. Satan and his fallen angels will one day stand judgement and be cast into the lake of fire. Holy angels today are used of God as ministering spirits to believers.
Colossians 1:16, Isaiah 14:12-17, 1 Peter 5:8, Revelation 12:10, Hebrews 1:14
The End
WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ will return to earth in a visible way and that Christians are exhorted to live their lives in anticipation of this imminent return. This return will precede a final judgment at the end of the age where the righteous and wicked will stand before Him to be judged. The righteous, who were made so through their faith in Jesus Christ, will be rewarded with His eternal blessings. Those who are wicked will be eternally punished.
Matthew 25:31-46, 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, Revelation 20:11-15
