Are you interested in getting more involved at MCC? Do you want to use your unique, God-given gifts to help within the church and in the surrounding communities? Do you feel called to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ by showing your light with others?
The Growth Track is the next step!
Through the Growth Track, you will learn about the many opportunities within the church, and help you discover the path that God has placed you on to grow in your faith while serving joyfully. Growth Track is held several times a year at both of our campuses – see upcoming dates at the bottom of this page. We also offer an online Growth Track option if you are unable to attend our in-person sessions.
What is Growth Track?
Purpose of Growth Track
One of MCC’s core values is that we believe everyone is a “10” at something. God designed every one of us intentionally and uniquely, each with gifts and talents only we have. Still, many of us can’t see our own gifts – and while we feel called to do something bigger, may not know how to get started. Through the Growth Track, we will help you identify what your strengths and inner gifts are, and then can help match you to the perfect areas at MCC where you can make the biggest difference. Our Growth Track was designed to perfectly identify characteristics and talents and match them with the needs in the church, and our surrounding communities.
Once you complete the Growth Track, you are eligible to become a partner of MCC by joining one of our many Grow Teams – areas across the church that work both within MCC and out in our communities, reaching out to those in need, serving, and discipling the love of Jesus. Browse the list of Grow Teams we have – there’s so much you can do!
What to Expect at Growth Track?
MCC Growth Track is a way for MCC and you to get to know each other better. We will share with you our doctrine, our mission statement, and our values. We will learn more about you, your spiritual gifts, your interests, and passions. Then we will introduce you to the many ways you can get involved in the growth of God’s kingdom through the many avenues at MCC.
Growth Track is a two-day event, held nearly every month at one of our campuses. The program consists of four parts, commonly referred to as 101, 201, 301, and 401. Parts 101, 201, and 301 are held on Saturday, and 401 is held on Sunday.
- 101: This part teaches the history and origin of MCC, as well as shares our mission, values, and beliefs. Did you know that MCC used to meet in a steak house?
- 201: This part explores the many different areas of service needed to make sure MCC operates smoothly; this includes our internal operations as well as our outreach and community events.
- 301: This part focuses on you and your spiritual gifts. God has chosen us and made each one of us for something so wonderful and specific. We delve into our passions, our personality, and our gifts, and we learn how we can apply all of these facets of ourselves to be a kingdom changer.
- 401: This is the conclusion of Growth Track, and this part is also known as Growth Track Training. During this session on Day 2 of your Growth Track, you will be given the opportunity to meet with Grow Team leaders in your chosen areas. From there, you partner with MCC and begin the incredible journey of using your talents and spiritual gifts to show the world how great our God is.
While in-person Growth Track is the most successful and impactful experience, if you are not able or comfortable with attending in-person, we do offer an online Growth Track that can be completed at your pace via email. Simply choose the Online Growth Track option when registering. Online Growth Track is held continually, and does not have any specific start dates.
